DP Doors & Millwork want your doors to stand out with the same quality as fine furniture. Whatever your home’s appeal; rustic, historic, farm, Cape Cod, English, Colonial, etc., you’ll want your doors to reflect its personal style. Whether you like the simplicity of regular door frame trim or not, there are many ways to make your doors stand out. Doors (and windows) can be dressed up with accents like headers (trim over the top of door), parting bead (small trim between header and jamb), crown moulding (moulded trim used as header or on top of header), rosettes (square moulded trim on top two corners of door), plinth blocks (rectangular blocks at bottom of each side of door). Framing the door with accents will make your door(s) dramatic, unique and inviting.
Our pre-finishing is second to none. We prep every door so that the finish adheres evenly. Two finish coats for interior doors and three for exterior doors with a UVA protectant coat. We offer a wide array of standard stain and paint colors as well as custom colors. We’ll also color match pre-existing stain/paint for remodeling or replacing doors. When you factor in the cost of the doors and the pre-finishing, you’ll see the savings in getting the doors and finishing all done by one vendor.
*We can also finish other vendor or customer’s doors but, unfortunately, cannot warranty the finish as we cannot verify the condition of the door(s). Save yourself time, money and worry by getting your doors and finishing done at DP Doors & Millwork.

Complete Stair Systems
Stairways can be elegant, traditional, modern, or just about anything you want. Adding your stair system to your house package continues to make the building process easier and economical. Matching your wood trim can continue through to your stair package where we’ll provide matching trim for the skirtboard (wood base trim up the stairway). With our experienced staff, we also custom build beautiful full and 1/2 wood posts to compliment your stair system. Order the handrail(s) and brackets, wood or iron balusters to complete the package.
Wood Trim

Our trim package is where you’ll notice the biggest impact in savings! In addition, you’ll get a finished product that will be long admired! We pre-cut specialty items such as headers, parting bead, stools, apron, etc., ease trim edges accordingly, then sand every piece of wood before painting/staining. Providing sub-contractors with a pre-cut, finished product makes for quick and easy installation. Less labor saves time and money.
Trim is either painted or stained with specialized stain/paint products for even adherence and rapid drying. A stain coat, sanding sealer and then a finish of your choice (satin or semi-gloss) provides the same furniture quality finish as our doors. When you factor the time saved in having a contractor (or yourself) figure out what you need, shop different millwork (trim) vendors, price out painting vendors, pay someone to cut speciality trim pieces, sand all trim, ease any edges, shut down the building progress for a painter or ship doors out to a paint shop, you’ll see the savings in using our products and service instead!
We offer a wide variety of profiles, including custom profiles, in various wood species or pre-fabricated products. Whether you’re looking for a paint grade, painted or stained product, all our finishing is done in spray booths offering a protected environment. Utilizing products that speed up the drying process and finishing in a paint booth helps to protect against much of airborne substances adhering to the finish.
We use and reuse all our products to be as environmentally friendly as possible. This greatly reduces excess our waste which is disposed of through EPA guidelines.

With our crew, we offer years of background experience in carpentry and cabinetry. This allows us to offer custom woodwork in all our packages. Examples of custom built items – shelving, bench seats, ceiling beams, posts, cabinets, hidden doorways, custom jambs, entertainment stands, mirror frames, etc.. All custom wood pieces are finished to your specifications and/or matched to the rest of your interior package!
